One-phase dyeing
The method for dyeing hair with henna is almost identical to other colouring agents. However, a few tips will ensure the best results.

*Reaction time varies: according to your hair type, whether you’ve used chemical dyes or whether you’ve washed your hair with chemical shampoos containing silicones (they make it difficult to dye hair with henna). However, henna dyeing usually takes between 45 minutes to 2 hours.
Two-phase dyeing for grey hair
The resulting shade depends on the color of your hair before you apply the henna. So if you apply henna to hair that’s already dyed, the results will be different to the results of henna on gray hair. Therefore, two-phase dyeing is recommended for dyeing gray hair (Pre-pigmentation color replaces peroxide).

*Another option is to dye your hair twice with the same shade you have chosen – e.g. twice with black or, for example, light brown. However, we recommend pre-pigmentation with PRE-PIGMENTATION COLOR
TIP: You will dye faster if you heat the PRE-PIGMENTATION MIXTURE and your chosen color with a hair dryer.

Frequently asked questions about VOONO natural herbal hair colours.
They work by coating the hair, unlike chemical products that penetrate deep into the hair structure. Therefore, none of the VOONO shades will lighten your hair.
It washes away within 4 weeks after the first colouring. However it never really washes away completely. If you dye your hair on regular basis, the colour will last longer and you only need to colour your hair roots. Dye entire hair legth once in three months.
Yes, you can. Just leave the gap 2–3 weeks after the last colouring. However, we recommend not using silicone and paraben hair products (shampoo, conditioner, hair spray, etc.).
Try your hair first to strawberry to wheat blonde using the Hair of Gauri mask (apply the mask for 45 minutes over the full length). Then apply the brown color. If these two steps were not taken, your hair could go green.
Your hair will be reddish or there is a risk of your hair colour turning to green. We do not recommend using Light Brown to blond hair.
Yes, you can, any time.
Yes, with red and red hues, you can use peroxide. With brown and black shades, go for the wash bath with vitamin C, not peroxide. Hair could go green.

Apply a pure indigo to light or gray hair! It will produce an unwanted gray or green shade. We do not recommend applying dark shades to blond hair (Indigo, Soft black and Dark brown – 90 % hair will turn green!). Indigo is suitable for black-haired or in combination with Soft black.
We recommend VOONO shampoo and conditioner or all that do not contain silicones and parabens.
Either the correct procedure is not followed or you have unsuitable hair products. Even natural shampoos sometimes do not fit with herbal colours. Just replace your hair products and the problem should be resolved within 2 weeks. If necessary, contact customer service info@voono.com.au.

Yes, if you have less than 30 % gray hair, you can overlay gray hair with only one colouring. If you have more than 30 % gray hair, firstly it is necessary to color the hair roots with the Pre-pigment color. Then apply the selected colour for the whole length of your hair. Every second week, but the best is after 4th–5th week (not always the whole length, only roots). The colours are 100% natural, so frequent colouring causes no harm to your health.
